Challenge
Lynsey contacted me needing a professionally designed logo for her new interior design business, Lila D Interiors. Being a designer herself, she needed someone who could translate her strong vision and ideas and create a logo as well as a visual aesthetic for her business touch-points, including a letterhead, business card, invoice and e-mail signature. She wanted a star-form as the inspiration for her logo.
Solution
By deconstructing the star shape into unique components, I created a minimalist yet recognisable mark that reflects the brand’s creative and design-led nature. To ensure a timeless, versatile aesthetic that could be consistently applied across all business touchpoints, we kept to a black and white colour palette.
Results
The final identity for Lila D Interiors successfully translated the client’s vision into a refined and distinctive logo built around a custom star-based letterform. The black-and-white palette and clean design approach resulted in a cohesive and professional visual identity that is both elegant and adaptable.
